AAA member Chiaki Ito will be continuing her entertainment activities as an individual after she gives birth, the singer's agency confirmed.

On January 12, Ito announced that she will be leaving AAA at the end of March due to her marriage to a 40-year-old non-celebrity and her pregnancy. The issue of her future activities was not immediately addressed.

Ito's agency has confirmed that Ito will remain in the entertainment industry as an individual. However, what she will be doing has not been finalized. Possible courses for her career include becoming a solo singer, actress, or a model, though other possibilities were not ruled out.

The other 6 members of AAA who will remain in the group are said to be fully supporting Ito's decision to leave, and will continue to support whatever she does in the future.

Ito is currently 3 months pregnant and will be giving birth over the summer. Her child will be with her husband, a man who she married last month after dating each other since June of 2016.
AAA member Chiaki Ito (30) has announced that she has gotten married, is 3 months pregnant, and will be leaving the group at the end of March.

On January 12, Ito made her announcement through AAA's official fan site.

Ito married a 40-year-old non-celebrity male in December of 2016. The two are said to have met each other a few years ago through a mutual acquaintance, and began dating in June of 2016.

Ito is currently 3 months pregnant. The singer is expected to give birth over the summer, most likely in June.

After consulting with her fellow AAA group mates and her staff, Ito has decided to leave the group at the end of March due to her marriage and pregnancy.

Although she is leaving, the singer expressed her desire to continue on with her activities full force until she officially leaves.

"The time I've spent with AAA has been the best time of my life. The memories I've made with the members and my fans are treasures that I'll never forget. I am very grateful for the members, the fans, and the staff," Ito said.

Chiaki Ito and Misaki Uno, the only two female members of the group, were part of a sub unit named MisaChia. The sub unit was supposed to go on tour in March. This tour has been cancelled.
